Ingredients:


 

  • Double Beef Patty - 40 Ounces (double cheese if the recipe includes it)
  •  

  • Tillamook Cheddar - 4 Slices
  •  

  • Thick Cut Bacon - 8 Slices
  •  

  • Dill Pickle Chips 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •  

  • Fried Egg - 4 Eggs
  •  

  • Thousand Island Dressing 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •  

  • Brioche Style Bun - 4 Buns
  •  

Preparation:


 

  1. Turn on the oven and preheat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and lay the bacon on top.
  2.  

  3. Divide the meat into 5 ounce portions. Form each portion loosely into a 3/4-inch-thick patty and make a depression in the center with your thumb. Season both sides of each burger with salt and pepper.

    Tips:
    • Take care not to over work the meat
    • Allowing the meat to warm up to near room temperature will provide a better sear that will lock in flavor

Cooking Directions:


 

  1. Place the bacon in the oven and start a timer. Begin checking on the bacon around 12 minutes into cooking. The bacon should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to be a perfect crispy golden brown.
  2.  

  3. Place beef patties on the grill or pan at medium-high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes.
    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare
    • 3.5 Minutes = Medium
    • 4 Minutes = Medium-Well
    • 4.5 Minutes = Well

    Flip the burgers and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes until desired doneness:
    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare
    • 3.5 Minutes = Medium
    • 4 Minutes = Medium-Well
    • 4.5 Minutes = Well

  5. Lighlty butter a cooking pan and heat a pan up over medium heat. Crack the egg to add its contents to the pan and cook for approximately 4 minutes. The yolk and white should be settled and ready for removal. If the yolk does not look cooked to your liking continue to cook the egg. Once done, remove the egg and salt and pepper to you liking.

  7. Place cheese on top of meat during the final minute of cooking

  9. Lightly toast the bun during the last minute of cooking on a separate pan at low-medium heat (if desired).

Assembly Instructions:


 

  1. Place beef patty on top of bottom bun and then place the second beef patty on top of the first.

     

  2. Place the Tillamook Cheddar on top of the meat (if not already done)

     

  3. Top the burger with Thick Cut Bacon

     

  4. Top the burger with Thousand Island Dressing

     

  5. Top the burger with Dill Pickle Chips

     

  6. Top the burger with Fried Egg

     

  7. Place the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
