Ingredients:


 

  • Beef Patty 1.5 pounds / 24 Ounces
  •  

  • White Cheddar - 4 Slices
  •  

  • Country Fried Bacon - 8 Slices
  •  

  • Butter Lettuce 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •  

  • Ripened Red Tomatoes - 0.664 Tomatoes
  •  

  • Horseradish Aioli 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •  

  • Bakery Bun - 4 Buns
  •  

Preparation:


 

  1. Reference the recipe here: Country Fried Bacon
  2.  

  3. Divide the meat into 6 ounce portions. Form each portion loosely into a 3/4-inch-thick patty and make a depression in the center with your thumb. Season both sides of each burger with salt and pepper.

    Tips:
    • Take care not to over work the meat
    • Allowing the meat to warm up to near room temperature will provide a better sear that will lock in flavor

  5. Wash and prep the tomatoes and cut them into thin slices.
  6.  

  7. Wash and prep the butter lettuce
  8.  

 

Cooking Directions:


 

  1. Place beef patties on the grill or pan at medium-high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes.
    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare
    • 3.5 Minutes = Medium
    • 4 Minutes = Medium-Well
    • 4.5 Minutes = Well

    Flip the burgers and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes until desired doneness:
    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare
    • 3.5 Minutes = Medium
    • 4 Minutes = Medium-Well
    • 4.5 Minutes = Well
  2.  

  3. Place cheese on top of meat during the final minute of cooking

  5. Lightly toast the bun during the last minute of cooking on a separate pan at low-medium heat (if desired).

Assembly Instructions:


 

  1. Place beef patty on top of bottom bun

     

  2. Place the White Cheddar on top of the meat (if not already done)

     

  3. Top the burger with Country Fried Bacon

     

  4. Top the burger with Horseradish Aioli

     

  5. Top the burger with Ripened Red Tomatoes

     

  6. Top the burger with Butter Lettuce

     

  7. Place the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
