  • White Cheddar - 4 Slices
  •

  • Canadian Bacon - 4 Slices
  •

  • Shredded Iceberg Lettuce 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces

  • Tangy BBQ Sauce 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •

  • Yellow Mustard 0.25 pounds / 4 Ounces
  •

  • Bakery Bun - 4 Buns
  •

Preparation:

  1. Divide the meat into 6 ounce portions. Form each portion loosely into a 3/4-inch-thick patty and make a depression in the center with your thumb. Season both sides of each burger with salt and pepper.

    Tips:
    • Take care not to over work the meat
    • Allowing the meat to warm up to near room temperature will provide a better sear that will lock in flavor
  2.

  3. Prepare a separate pan for browning the Canadian Bacon (if needed).
  4.

  5. Clean, trim, and slice onions as desired.
  6.

  7. Wash and prep the tomatoes and cut them into thin slices.
  8.

  9. Wash and prep the lettuce blend by dicing it into thin and short strips.
  10.

Cooking Directions:

  1. Lightly butter or spray the pan and place the Canadian Bacon in it. Turn on the stove to medium heat and gently brown/cook the Canadian Bacon.
  2.

  3. Place beef patties on the grill or pan at medium-high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes.
    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare
    • 3.5 Minutes = Medium
    • 4 Minutes = Medium-Well
    • 4.5 Minutes = Well

    • 3 Minutes = Medium-Rare

  4.

  5. In a large skillet or pan melt butter over medium-high heat until pan bottom is coated in butter. Use about 1 tablespoon butter per onion. Add chopped or sliced onions and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon or heatproof spatula
  6.

  7. Place cheese on top of meat during the final minute of cooking
  8.
