Description: Hamburgeria Nacional is located in central São Paulo and is an upscale burger joint focusing on the business/dating crowd. The menu features a variety of burgers, but their Kobe burger is the standout.

The Kobe Burger focuses strictly on beef and I ordered mine with just cheddar and bacon. My beef came a little undercooked (ordered medium) atop a soft white toasted bun. I tried a few bites without any sauces to see if the Kobe beef was worth its price. I quickly determined the beef could be more juicy and use more seasoning. I added some ketchup and mustard to the package to add some seasoning. Bite after bite I was hoping to unlock that magical Kobe flavor and it wasn't there.

At the end of the day this burger lacked some classic elements. I think some onions, pickles, and a house provided sauce would have done a lot to dress this burger up. Also, this Kobe beef did nothing to impress me and tasted no different from an undercooked burger off a grill in someone's backyard. For 70 real ($30) this burger was a disappointment. Much better burgers are only a few blocks away.
