Description: Square is a neighborhood bar catering on being a friendly and fun place to grab a bite. They need to make a pretty mean burger to draw in a crowd, since they are just down the block from Kuma’s corner.

The Big Square is "The ultimate char-grilled burger" topped with grilled onions, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and chili garlic sauce served on toasted a pretzel bun. The menu was pretty accurate in describing this as the ultimate char-burger, as it is definitely one of the best I've ever had. Just down the street from Kuma's Corner this place also deserves its own crowd for this burger. A tender and juicy patty, served on a delicious pretzel bun along with a simple combination of flavors...with a twist of chili-garlic. Overall, this burger was amazing. My burger companion opted to get the burger without the chili garlic sauce and it actually tasted better with just plain ketchup (in my opinion) by comparison. The chili garlic has a little too much spice. The extra flavor and was getting in the way of the great beef and everything else on the burger.

One of the best in Chicago...just hold the sauce and you'll be in burger bliss!
